Fall Session: One Day Chorus · Lux Aurumque by Eric Whitacre · November 1st, 2025 · Portland, Maine
Join us for our next One Day Chorus on Saturday, November 1st from 2-5PM! This is a full SATB chorus, and we will be singing Lux Aurumque by Eric Whitacre. Note - once you fill out the registration form, you’ll need to click on your cart and check out to complete your registration.
Whether you’re a shower singer, a lifelong choir member, or just curious—you’re welcome here. No auditions, no pressure. Just real humans coming together to sing for the joy of it. You don’t need experience—just a little courage and a love for music.
After you register, you'll receive the music and vocal recordings for each part.
We ask everyone to spend some time getting familiar with their part before the big day. That way, when we come together in November, we can dive right into the heart of the music—blending, shaping, and bringing it to life as a group. You’ll meet everyone you’ll be singing with, rehearse for a couple of hours, then walk through the space and sing together, then head home. It’s that easy!
The more confident we are in our parts, the more space we’ll have to explore dynamics, emotion, and that magical sense of singing with each other—not just alongside each other.
PLEASE NOTE: Both video and audio recording will be taking place at these performances.
